Science Non-Fiction Book Group

The Science Non-Fiction Book Group will meet on Tuesday, July 18, to discuss "The Invention of Nature: Alexander von Humboldt’s New World,” by Andrea Wulf. More things have been named for Humboldt than any other person. He was the first to consider an interdependent web of life. All are welcome.

Also, on Tuesday, August 15, we will meet to discuss “Powers of Two: How Relationships Drive Creativity,” by Joshua Wolf Shenk. While creativity sometimes comes from loaners, more often it is a collaboration between two people that complement each other. (the usual time and place)

Both books are available from audible.com. (Note that "Powers of Two" seems to have two names on Amazon. They are both the same book.)

We will meet in Forbes Hall at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome. Contact: Rebecca Crawford,
