UU Men's Group

The Men’s Group offers a special opportunity to the men of the congregation and other like-minded men to join our welcoming group in provocative and stimulating discussion and to get to know others with UU perspectives in a more meaningful way. We meet the first and third Thursday of the month from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the NE room of the Cottage.

The topic for Dec. 7th is appropriate to the anniversary of Pearl Harbor/WWII: With that war, and later, came the duty of military service. As a citizen of the U. S. we only have two obligations (besides obeying laws): jury duty and paying taxes. Should there be any other obligations as a citizen such as voting and/or performing some kind of public service? The topic for Dec. 14 is: As Christmas is upon us once again, and since both Unitarians and Universalists began as Christian faiths, what is the significance of Christ's birth and life to you, if any?
