"Our Capital Campaign is the culmination of years of planning a building program
that will meet the needs of our church community. It is also an expression of hope that we can fund the plans we have made. Please participate in this campaign and give as generously as you can to help bring our plans and hopes into reality. Our future depends on each of us. Will you join me in giving as generously
as you can?"
-The Rev. Judith Meyer

"Our proposed facilities will help us to meet the space and programmatic needs
of our existing members as well as those who follow us. Contributing to the Capital
Campaign means each of us is building a future for ourselves, our families, and for
those who hold liberal religious beliefs."
-Jerry Gates,

"Every little plant needs a bit of space and some sunlight. The same is true for
our children. If they are to enjoy church -- if they are to happily keep coming
back and absorbing our world-changing values -- then they need an inviting environment.
Our new 17th Street building will provide sunny and spacious new classrooms plus a
library, a new nursery, and a children's worship place. So, plant a seed for the future.
Give our children the space they need to grow tall, strong and true."
-Susanne Intriligator,
Director of Religious Education

"In 1959 this congregation (vastly smaller in number then) completed a capital campaign,
raising around $85,000 (1959 dollars) to expand the sanctuary and build Forbes Hall. It
was a very positive and affirming experience for us, and the expansion of our facilities
kicked off an exciting period of growth and renewal. We can do it again, this time at
last completing the optimal use of our properties. And for a second time, now even
more fully, we can realize a renewed faith in ourselves as a religious community."

Minister Emeritus | |

with other people, in a formal way, deep things like
thankfulness and sorrow, without having to lie about
what I believe. Also, it lets me sing in a choir!"
-Graham Jarvis |
"What I like about the church is that you learn about
things in a fun way. You also do fun activities while
you are learning. I like going to church every Sunday."
