UU Men's Group

The Men’s Group offers a special opportunity to the men of the congregation and other like-minded men to join our welcoming group in provocative and stimulating discussion and to get to know others with UU perspectives in a more meaningful way. We meet the first and third Thursday of the month from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the NE room of the Cottage.

The topic for July 5 is: What one or two most important things to you did you try to teach to your children, by discussion and/or by example? Was there anything that you only realized later that you were inadvertently teaching them and wished that you hadn’t? Were these the same or different major lessons that you learned from your parents? The topic for July 12 is: What is the oldest historical event or story about life that you can remember having been told to you by someone who lived through it? Are there any such stories that you have told to your children or younger people more than a couple of times?
